History of School

Thank you for taking the time to visit the Colorado Springs Early Colleges website.
This school is directed by our Mission Statement:
All students, regardless of background or skill level,
will have the opportunity to pursue a growth mindset
that will allow them to achieve mastery and to demonstrate
they can succeed in school, in college, and in their chosen career.
No exceptions.  No excuses.
We are a public charter high school that welcomes every student.  We have structured a Student Bill of Rights, which helps focus our efforts on helping every student achieve success.

Alan Kay stated:  The best way to predict the future is to invent it.
Colorado Springs Early Colleges was the first high school in the Pikes Peak region to allow a student to earn an Associate degree while still in high school, FREE.  Our goal is to prepare students as quickly as possible for college and then pay for their opportunity to complete college courses while still in high school.  In any given school year over 75 percent of our students are taking college courses.
We welcome your interest in our school and hope you consider taking advantage of this unique opportunity at Colorado Early Colleges where every student is given the opportunity to succeed and perform to the limit of their ability.
Keith King, Colorado Early Colleges Administrator
