Retaking the ACCUPLACER assessment (CSEC Policy)

Newly enrolled students and current students testing into a college course for the first time are allowed to retest. The Colorado Springs Early Colleges retest procedure states that within any three month period, students are permitted an initial test and one retest. There should be a two week waiting period between the initial test and one retest. Students can petition Colorado Springs Early Colleges Academic Department for a third retest only if the student can provide evidence of some instructional intervention that would suggest that score improvement would be possible. Documentation showing evidence of intervention will be required from each student. Students can use above mentioned ACCUPLACER testing resources as an intervention strategy.
